CASHIER/PREP

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

| IN THE KITCHEN |​

• Plan, organize and execute the production of cobbler, ice cream, and other baked goods as required by the company on a day-to-day basis. Production tasks including but not limited to mixing batter, seasoning fillings, making ice cream, rotating and labeling goods, etc.

• Organize products for truck service, dish-washing, clean the kitchen at the end of every shift, and perform other cooking-related duties as needed.

| ON THE TRUCKS |​​

• Load all items needed for each service.

• Drive to and from event locations in personal vehicle for our mobile unit events. / Drive to 12s location for scheduled shifts.

• Set up and break down/clean the truck for each service. 

• Sell menu items to customers/manage cash register operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:​

• Be able to operate Square POS systems. (training available)

• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and be able to stand for periods of time in a food truck and/or kitchen.

• (Preferred) Past experience, thriving in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen/restaurant environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Work ethic, reliability, honesty and positivity.

• Ability to accurately follow instructions and pay close attention to details.

• Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers with professionalism and respect.

 

EXPERIENCE:

• Past experience in a fast paced kitchen and/or restaurant preferred but not required.

• Some knowledge of baking/food production preferred but not required.

 

SCHEDULE:

• Part-Time

• Each truck shift at the 12S location is Mon-Sat - 10:45-4pm / 4pm-9pm and Sun 11:45am-7pm

• Each prep shift is approximately 4 hours. 2-3 days a week.

PAY:

• $12 Training Pay (Usually 1 week/5 shifts of training required)

• $15 - $20 hour (rates vary depending on experience and scheduled position - drivers, cashiers, prep etc)

• Tips (during truck services) *current team members average $20-$25 an hour with tips!
